Autumn leaves frame the River Lathkill from Conksbury Bridge. From its source in a shadowy cave to the point it merges with the waters of the river Bradford then the Wye the Lathkill and its surroundings have a magical appeal. The dale is recognised as one of the most beautiful places in the Peak District.
